Terms of Use
The terms that apply when you use the PayAccept website. Use of the PayAccept API and merchant services is governed by separate agreements.
This document is published in draft while our legal counsel completes its review. It describes how PayAccept operates today, during private beta, and may change before general availability. If you need the terms that apply to a specific integration, contact [email protected].
01Who you are agreeing with
This website is operated by Stichting PayAccept, registered in the Netherlands under Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number 77832353, High Tech Campus 10, 5656 AE Eindhoven, The Netherlands ("PayAccept", "we", "us").
By using the website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the website.
02What this website is
The website provides information about PayAccept's products and lets you contact us or register interest in access. It is not a payment service, and no payment can be made through it.
PayAccept is in private beta. Each product on the website shows its current availability. Anything described as roadmap or in preparation is a statement of intent — not a commitment to deliver by a particular date or with particular features.
03Acceptable use
When using this website, you agree not to:
- use it in breach of applicable law
- interfere with its operation, availability, or security
- access it by automated means in a way that degrades it for others
- misrepresent your identity or your relationship with PayAccept
- copy substantial parts of it for a competing service
04Information you submit
If you submit your email address, we use it to reply to you or to notify you when access opens, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Please do not send confidential information through this website. If you need to share something confidential, contact us and we will agree a suitable channel.
05Intellectual property
The website, its content, and the PayAccept name and logo belong to PayAccept or its licensors. You may quote and link to our content with attribution. Any other use requires our written permission.
Third-party names and logos shown on the website — for example commerce platforms and blockchain networks — belong to their respective owners. They indicate technical compatibility or integration status as labelled, and do not imply a partnership, endorsement, or sponsorship unless we state so explicitly.
06Third-party links
Where we link to a third-party website, we do not control it and are not responsible for its content or how it handles your data.
07No warranty
The website is provided as is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the information on it is complete and current at every moment. Product descriptions are not a warranty of performance.
08Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes our liability for damage caused by intent or gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Dutch law. Where the law allows us to limit liability, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data arising from your use of this website.
If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected by these terms.
09Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated version.
10Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent Dutch court, without affecting any forum a consumer is entitled to rely on.
